Davai crafts food that is
plant-based & based on plants.
Sound like some bs marketing slogan
but just read the filling of Broccoli Pesto:
🥦 54,3% Broccoli
🌿 14,7% Basilicum
🌻 8,4% Sunflower seeds
🍋 2,6% Lemon juice
🍅 2,9% Tomato flakes
🧄 1,5% Garlic
it's literally just yummy plants
wrapped in dough.
We started Davai because
we were kinda bored :)
Gentrepreneur gave our uni a class about
student-entrepreneurship and while most
people started writing code,
we started rolling dough.
We started at our kitchen table with
500 (mediocre) dumplings/day.
Soon this became 500.000 handmade
dumplings and some painful backs.
We were tired of our kitchen tables
& started to our own atelier.
This is us, Maybritt & Ruslan, back in 2018
Now we're in Schellebelle
crafting 30.000 🥟 per day.
We design, source, make and pack everything
in our own atelier.
It makes our days longer and a bit more tiring
but it also makes us more flexible and gives us
complete control over our own product.
